What did I do to grow my business?
As said in the last post, I focused on maintaining my schedule and teaching the classes I already have. Teaching restorative was a whole new experience for me. I enjoyed the opportunity to try something new.
The one thing I did not remove from my schedule was filming a video about shoulder strength and mobility. It is not finished yet, but I filmed the first part. The second part is coming today. Then I “just” have to edit it, which gives me some nightmares, no idea how to do that. But I will work it out and hopefully publish the video beginning of January.
How often did I practice and when?
Straying a bit from my weekly practice, I missed one or two days. Most of the mornings I had a quick practice of about 15 minutes. And I swapped the asana practice for pranayama and meditation somedays, to give my body some rest.
What did I teach?
I taught a restorative class this week, which was a completely new experience for me. Feedback from the students was positive, maybe I incorporate a more nourishing style of yoga more often. Today I still have a yin class to teach. Also really quiet and slow, but I taught that before. In the week before the Christmas holidays, I did not want to add to the stress that comes with it. Therefore two gentle and relaxing classes. Sweat breaking yoga will start again in the new year. Happy Holidays!
Plans for the next week
Next week I do not have any classes to teach and will focus mostly on being with my family and enjoying the holidays. Next week there will not be a regular blog post, but an outlook to 2019. I plan to change things up around here and have some big plans. So stay posted.
